I’m back at desk after ten days away at a family wedding in Spain. That’s us there, enjoying some good, good times. Happy now to be back to summer (at last) in London and looking forward to finishing some projects that were not quite across the line when I left. Here are my author business creative intentions Week 29 2019.
- MAKER (Producing): Quarterly Planner final illustrations are in (sneak peek below). I hope to sign off on this one this week. Wearing my maker hat, I’m also working on poetry audiobooks. I have six pamphlets and a collection to work through by month’s end.
- MANAGER (Processing): We are setting up affiliate payments on the Conference site for those who want to spread the word.
- MARKETER (Promoting): A new marketing plan for each of my four book categories: fiction, poetry (including Patreon), author guides and Go Creative! books — complete with social media and advertising plans. Phew!
That’s what I’ll be up to. What about you? What will you be producing, processing or promoting this week? Do pop over to our Go Creative! in Business Facebook group, where we support and motivate each other. It’s completely free, there’s no selling or self-promotion, and you can leave anytime if it isn’t the right fit for you. You’ve nothing to lose and it may be just the creative boost you need.
In our Go Creative! in Business group, each Monday we outline our creative intentions to each other. And then we follow up on a Saturday with what we’ve actually accomplished during the week. What’s unique about our group is that our report is given under the three hats a creative entrepreneur must wear: that of Maker (who produces), Manager (who processes) and Maximizer (who promotes).
