In the Go Creative! method, it’s important for us not to just set goals and intentions and to do lists but also to log what we’ve accomplished and made each week. So here’s my writing and publishing week: Creative Week 11 2019.
On Wednesdays, I do a rundown of what we’re up to in ALLi and the self-publishing world, but on Mondays and Saturdays I focus on my work as an author-publisher and poet. You’re invited to share your accomplishments each week too, in our Facebook group, under the headings of producing, processing and positioning.
My Creative Week 11 2019: (Ends March 16th)
Below is the work completed this week. You can see Monday’s intentions here
- MAKER (Producing): Alas, my hope to do a little work on Creative Self-Publishing when “I’m not doing other things” didn’t happen. We were busier than ever at the London Book Fair. Had such a great time meeting up with ALLi’s and friends, speaking at our various seminars and (highlight for writer me) reading from my new poetry collection, Keepers.
- MANAGER (Processing): Was all about LBF and the Self-Publishing Advice Conference this week. Check out the conference online.
- MAXIMIZER (Positioning): I wrote in my intentions on Monday: “Each year at LBF, something magic happens, I meet amazing people, projects come knocking.” This year was no exception. I have a lot to think about, deciding which is a yes and which a no for the coming year. Will keep you posted.
WHAT ABOUT YOU? How was your creative week?
