How was your creative week? (You can share your accomplishments, setbacks and side-tours with us in our Facebook group here. Then come back on Monday to set intentions for Week 33). The theme of my creative week was Fostering Creative Flow and below are my creative accomplishments for this week 32, Q3, 2019, under the three hats of maker, manager and marketer.
Theme of the Week: Fostering Creative Flow
In our daily creative flow practice, we explored four aspects of flow:
On Tuesday: Clearing Thought Tangles, so flow can happen.
On Wednesday: Merging Action and Awareness
On Thursday: The Energy of Effortlessness
On Friday: We had an unplanned session (theme) as next week I’m away on a writing retreat (of which more on Monday) so no live practice for a week.
But there are now 166 replays—so daily practice is still very possible.
My Creative Week: Week 32, Q3, 2019
My author business intentions for this week, as outlined in the Go Creative! in Business Facebook group last Monday, were to sign off on the Go Creative! Quarterly Planner, upgrade on OrnaRoss.com to open the Creativist Club in September and update the perma-free and free self-publishing guides.
Here’s what I actually achieved, wearing my three work hats.
MAKER: I signed off on the Go Creative! Quarterly Planner. Over to Jane now. The new charts in this planner will then be uploaded to the Creativist Club and we’ll be reopening in September.
MANAGER: Upgrade on OrnaRoss.com to open Creativist Club in September. Technical work has begun on this.
MARKETER: Update the perma-free and free self-publishing guides. ALLi now offers Self-Publishing 3.0 as a permafree book and Creative Self-Publishing will also be available as a free book to members and subscribers next month.
What about you, how was your creative week? What did you produce, process or promote in your creative business?
In our Go Creative! in Business group, each Monday we outline our creative intentions to each other. And then we follow up on a Saturday with what we’ve actually accomplished during the week. What’s unique about our group is that our report is given under the three hats a creative entrepreneur must wear: that of Maker (who produces), Manager (who processes) and Marketer (who promotes). Join us?
If you’ve been motivated, moved or inspired by my writing or any of my work, please consider becoming a patron.
If you already do support, then a deep bow.
Thank you. Sonas mór leat. Namaste.
