Going Wild

Are you looking forward to the creative week ahead? Do you know what you intend to create this week? Below is the map of my creative intentions for my author business for this week (Week 32 Q3 2019) and our theme for creative flow practice this week is: Going Creative is Going With The Flow.

Creative Flow Practice Theme Week 32, 2019: Going Creative is Going With The Flow

Going With The FlowOur theme for Creative Flow Practice this week will be: Going Creative is Going With The Flow.

We have no live practice today, Monday, but back tomorrow with a session about Clearing Thought Tangles, so flow can happen.

On Wednesday our theme will be Merging Action and Awareness.

On Thursday The Energy of Effortlessness.

Going creative is not always about pushing forward. Often—more often than many conscious creators want to admit– it’s about relaxing and going with the flow.

Of course, we need to know how to harness the virtues of creative focus: how to set good creative intentions and see them through the seven stages of the creative process, from desire to done.

But we also need to know how to to harness the virtues of creative acceptance. How to clear the mental and emotional space to allow, to receive, to succumb.

Both are necessary for greater depth and velocity of flow. That’s what we’ll be focussing on in Creative Flow Practice this week.

Mapping Creative Intentions Week 32, 2019

In our Go Creative! in Business group, each Monday we outline our creative intentions to each other. And then we follow up on a Saturday with what we’ve actually accomplished during the week. What’s unique about our group is that our report is given under the three hats a creative entrepreneur must wear: that of Maker (who produces), Manager (who processes) and Maximizer (who promotes). Join the group to map your intentions and log your accomplishments.

going with the flow

On 10th August I’m away for a few days for a writing retreat and these projects have to be completed by then.

Here are the intentions:

  • MAKER: Top priority is to sign off on the Go Creative! Quarterly Planner.
  • MANAGER: Upgrade on OrnaRoss.com to open Creativist Club in September.
  • MARKETER: Update the perma-free and free self-publishing guides.

That’s what I’ll be up to in my author business and it’s a busy week at ALLi too as we go live with our new member website and our podcasts return.

What about you? What will you be producing, processing or promoting this week? Do pop over to our Go Creative! in Business Facebook group, where we support and motivate each other. It’s completely free, there’s no selling or self-promotion, and you can leave anytime if it isn’t the right fit for you. You’ve nothing to lose and it may be just the creative boost you need.

If you’ve been motivated, moved or inspired by my writing or any of my work, please consider becoming a patron.
