If you want:
to be more creative in everything you do,
to help further the movement from conventional to creative in our world
support this free weekly broadcast that has those aims at heart.
Episode 9 is a creative publishing show (we do one of these a month, on the last Sunday), and this month it’s a break from the usual format of looking at the three most important self-publishing stories of the month, as last week was the Frankfurt Book Fair.
ALLi was there, of course. We attend the three major fairs each year — London, BEA & Frankfurt — and run a free online conference fringe to those events.
David Penny was our roving reporter, bringing Frankfurt to all the indie authors who couldn’t be there.
And Porter and I were did a session together on the Publishing Perspectives stage called “An Overview of Self-Publishing 2016.” You can listen to this here on the Show.
The recording is fuzzy with a lot of background noise but if you want more you can find the entire session here.
And do check out our other Fringe events. The agenda is here.
We look at where the current wave of self-publishing came from, where it is going to and give lots of tips for aspiring and established author-publishers.
And in the final segment of the show, I explain why we devote a monthly slot on The Go Creative! Show to self-publishing, and why there has never been a better time to write and publish a book.
You can find out more about the show, read the transcript and subscribe on iTunes, Stitcher or YouTube on the Show Page.
And if you’re interested in self-publishing, do check out ALLi’s other Frankfurt Fringe events. All by authors, for authors, and thanks to the generosity of our speakers and sponsors, it’s all online and all free. The agenda is here.
