As you know, there’s nothing I love more than a good writer’s conference, and no city I love more than San Francisco — so I’m doubly excited to be prepping for the 13th Annual San Francisco Writer’s Conference next month.
The “city that can” is one of the settings in my four-generation historical murder mystery, After The Rising and Before the Fall, chosen for the sexual and social liberation it brings to the main character, Jo Devereux, who emigrates there in the 1980s. (The rest of the book is set in rural Ireland and you can buy the new two-books-in-one edition below.)
And they are giving me the opportunity to do sessions on poetry side-by-side with publishing advice.
It’s a rare conference that has that breadth of vision — and this is a rare conference indeed.
See you there?
